How to Vote Early in WI

You can still register to vote in-person at your municipal clerk’s office during the clerk’s business hours until 5:00 p.m. on November 1, 2024 OR at your polling place on Election Day.
Absentee Ballots

Registered Wisconsin voters may request an absentee ballot.

The deadline to request your absentee ballot is October 31st at 5pm.

Absentee ballots must be received by 8pm on Election Day to be counted. If you are worried it won’t arrive in time via mail, you can take your completed absentee ballot to an approved location.

What to Bring to the Polls

You must show an approved photo ID to vote, like a WI driver’s license, WI DOT ID, military ID, Tribal ID, or passport.
